Baastad Mekaniske AS
Baastad Mekaniske AS is a mechanical workshop located in Trøgstad, in the Indre Østfold municipality. The company specializes in the production of staircases, railings, and steel structures for a variety of construction projects.
With a large volume of smaller production series such as staircases, railings, gratings, and similar components, Baastad Mekaniske AS has invested in a welding cell featuring an IntelliWelder mounted on a 5-meter linear axis.
The linear axis is integrated with a long welding table, giving the robot a total working range of up to 7 meters. For components like this, even relatively small production batches can be cost efficiently welded using the IntelliWelder from Pioneer Robotics as it consists of a large number of repetative welds.
